Job Title - National Project Development Manager - Heating Controls/ HVAC

Location - Home based/ National coverage

Salary - £35-40k basic + car allowance + attractive bonus

Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate that has a proven track record of growing specification and project/contract sales across the following multiple sectors:

M&E contractors

Housing associations

Local authorities

Facilities management

Brings sector expertise and contacts with them - we are looking for a person who has been in a similar role for 2-years minimum.

Ideally based in North West, Midlands, or South East, but other areas will be considered.

Experienced in getting companies specified and to approved supplier status with key organisations in the above sectors.

Has good, strong relationships that can be capitalised on with senior management and specifiers of companies within the above sectors.

Knows which tender, procurement and approved lists we should be on.

Already works closely with Branch Managers, Account Managers and the National Account Teams of electrical and/or plumbing wholesalers and merchants.

Knowledge of the heating controls and time switch sector would be a distinct advantage.

Marketing is a key element of this role, and the successful candidate will have a strong view how to best spend our marketing £'s.

Be an integral member of the new product development team to make sure we produce the future products he/she needs to grow project/contract business.

This is a role for a self-starter requiring minimum supervision. The National Project Development Manager will be expected to put a plan together and then successfully implement it.

Has the enthusiasm, drive and determination and to make a success of this vital role.

This is certainly not a job for someone who likes a regular working day. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be willing to stop away from home as and when required.

Great potential for the role to develop into Sales Director (short to medium term).
