iO Associates have been retained by an internationally recognised Insurer who are looking to further expand their team by recruiting a Platform Support Engineer.

The successful candidate will be sitting in a growing team that specialise in business batch processing being run by the company.

Some of the roles responsibilities include the following:
·Production Incident/Problem/Change assessment and resolution
·Assisting with development and project teams
·Working within a DevOps environment
·Assisting of batch framework
·Expertise with Oracle coding and batch best practice
·Experience with automation and scripting
·Provide out-of-hours support

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

·Problem solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
·Exposure (does not need to be extensive) to Firewalls and Routing
·Experience with DevOps
·Experience working with AWS (or other cloud platforms)
·Knowledge of relational database design

This role is working on a permanent basis in South London.
