Site Manager - House building

A top ten house builder seeks to appoint an experienced Site Manager's for a development based in the Lancashire Region.

The company build quality homes and offer a wide range of property types includes three, four and five bed detached properties; two and three bed terraced and semidetached houses, bungalows and apartments across UK.

Due to the opening of a new development in Liverpool they have a requirement for an experienced volume house building Site Manager to join a large development of over 300 units, a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes and 2 bedroom apartments, over several phases.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing the construction process of all new homes in an efficient manner thus ensuring that costs are kept within budget. Duties will include:

" To comply Build Policy and Procedures
" Supervise and co-ordinate staff, Sub-Contractors, material suppliers and Utility providers to ensure an efficient method of build to the required build quality and build programme.
" Scheduling work to be carried out to ensure production targets are achieved and high quality of product is maintained
" Ensure that production targets are met whilst producing the highest quality of product and ensuring costs are kept within budget
" Comply with Site Managers responsibilities as laid down in the Group's Health, Safety & Environment Policy and complete the relevant documentation on a weekly/monthly basis
" Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisation's goals and enhancing the reputation of the company
" Liaise with Sales department and customers to ensure the highest possible Customer
" Care performance/ satisfaction and complete all relevant inspections and documentation
" Direct liaison with Sales, Technical and Commercial departments ensuring that up to date records of all site activities are retained, thereby achieving cost/quality control; and report on the same to Contracts Managers/Construction Director
" Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company's needs

Experience Required

The successful applicant must have a proven track record working on new build housing developments ideally for a volume house builder. You will need to be capable of supervising all aspects of construction at site level to the highest standard, you will be conversant with all aspects of house building, traditional and timber frame. As a Site Manager you will be First Aid certified and have a 5 day SMSTS and Black CSCS Management card.

In return for your skills, the company offer a generous salary up to £30k, car allowance
