ROLE - DIRECTOR DESIGNATE - Groundworks / Shoring / Propping Hire



My client is a leading temporary works hire business in the UK and are currently looking to drive their growth with a General Manager in a flagship new depot in the Northern Home Counties area.



The role is an all-encompassing leading from the front role, with full control of the running of the Depot day to day with full P+L responsibility, management of a team of 15 (3 direct), operations, health and safety, transport and service. The role reports directly into a Regional Operations Director.



Candidate:



You will need at least 5 years' relevant Operational experience preferably in a related field, such as Formwork, Groundworks or Shoring for example. However, someone from a different sector with a proven operations management history would be considered. It is a must that you have had profit and loss responsibilities in the past.



The role requires someone who is either someone who is a successful Depot Manager looking for that next step or perhaps a Regional Director who is looking for a more geographically local role.



You will have to be commutable to a Depot in the Home Counties. In addition, people management experience is a necessity, as you will look after a team of 15 personnel, with 3 direct reports. You will need to be driven, positive and energetic.
