We are looking to recruit a Permanent Contracts Manager for a Social Housing Contract based in Bristol. Our client is a National Social Housing Contractor looking for a reliable Contracts Manager to work on their contracts in the Bristol area.

The Company is recognised as working within the Affordable Housing and Public Property sectors for local authorities and other housing providers in the South West. As such, this vastly expanding Company are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager based from their office s in Bristol. You will be responsible for a number of contracts such as cyclical works, student accommodation and reactive maintenance.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your principle duties and responsibilities will include:

" Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids and tenders.
" Assist in the development of the procurement programme
" Assist in the presentation of the contract brief to the client.
" Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams (inc. sub contractors
" Manage site personnel, work activities and resources
" Control contract progress towards completion
" Control contract budgets
" Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time.
" Ensure contracts comply with Legal and Statutory requirements
" Ensure contracts comply with Health, Safety and Welfare requirements.
" Ensure site personnel (inc. visitors) are aware of their own Health, Safety and Welfare
" Ensure the performance of reporting staff is monitored through regular appraisals and reviews.
" Ensure identified individual development/training needs are met.
" Manage/implement the Company's procedures on Recruitment, Discipline and Grievance.
" Support Senior Management in meeting the Clients business needs.
" Manage and control meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers.
" Deal with Client / Customer queries and or communications professionally and efficiently.


To apply for this role you must have a CSCS Card and previous experience of working at a Contract Manager level. You will also need experience of managing Social Housing Contracts with a strong Health and Safety element.

In return the Client is offering a Annual Salary of Circa £45k + Car or Car Allowance, and the opportunity to work a National Social Housing Contractor.
