Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an IT Helpdesk Administrator to join our team in Barlborough, on a full-time basis.
What will I be responsible for?
As our IT Helpdesk Administrator, you will be the first line of contact support for all IT issues raised by end users and provide resolution where possible or escalation if not. You will work to support the Group IT Manager in delivering a robust and fit for purpose IT support service alongside:
* Ensure all IT Helpdesk and support issues are dealt with promptly on a priority basis and escalated as appropriate.
* Ensure that the Helpdesk system is regularly maintained so that users are kept updated on the progress of their issues in line with KPIs/SLAs.
* Ensure effective communication with all internal and external customers.
* Perform IT inductions for all new staff to the business, and coaching new users on how to get the best from IT services and systems.
* Assist with administration of the Coins system
* Assist Group IT Manager with management / tracking / safeguarding of IT assets by ensuring the tagging of all registered IT assets and the updating of the asset tracking system
* Carry out straightforward Active Directory tasks to include user account administration password resets and basic security maintenance in line with Group IT policy.
* Set up new users and install hardware / software where required.
* Implement the leaver policy to safeguard IT equipment and systems when notified of a leaver by the HR Department
* Assist with any new office moves requiring IT and Systems support
* Comply with all relevant Group IT Policies and processes
* Assist Group IT Manager with management of communication systems and associated hardware
* Maintain up to date technical knowledge and participate in on-going technical and customer service/personal effectiveness training and development
* Attend remote sites and regional office as required, occasionally involving overnight stays.

The Ideal IT Helpdesk Administrator:
* Full UK driving license is essential

* Good working knowledge of desktop operating systems, especially Windows 10
* Experience of dealing with end users at all levels of a business
* Experience of troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2013/2016 issues
* Experience of remote access tools such as VNC, Remote Desktop Support or Splashtop
* Knowledge of Coins system administration functions
* Experience in providing support to users including knowledge of HelpDesk system
