Nursing Home Manager, Liverpool

Salary - £45,000 to £50,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Home Manager in a 48 bedded purpose-built home specialising in residential and nursing dementia care.

Set in a lovely semi-rural town on the outskirts of Liverpool, the home benefits from a good CQC rating and has a warm, family feel. It is part of a large network of homes offering a fantastic salary of up to £50k.

Detailed Job Description of Nursing Home Manager

* You will have the responsibility of the overall management of the home by actively engaging with customers and the team.
* Maintaining highest level of care through CQC, HSE, EHO compliance, company policies and procedures and conducting regular risk assessments.
* Financial Responsibilities including sales revenue, payroll, agency costs and contributing to the annual budget planning.
* Building of successful teams and by being fully engaged in career development and coaching of staff and building morale.
* Overseeing appropriate reporting and recording of all incidents in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure effective administrative processes are in place to enable the smooth running of the Home.

Job Requirements

* Experience of leading a large team and mentoring junior staff
* Financial and Risk assessment experience in relation to running a nursing home
* NMC pin or S/NVQ4 in social care and either have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
* Experience of turnaround management and dementia care desirable.
