We are looking to recruit a temporary Labour / Buying Desk Administrator in Basingstoke, RG21. Our Client is an award winning National Contractor who operates in various sectors, including; Social Housing, Construction and Retail.

Reporting to the Labour/Buying Desk Manager, the role will include;
Ensure all Purchase Orders are completed to an agreed format and timescale
Ensure that preferred labour agencies are utilised for all available spend
Ensure that preferred supplier agreements are utilised for all available spend
Take ownership of the tasks they complete to contribute to increased efficiencies
Resolve any queries in relation to orders placed appropriately and efficiently
Ensure disputes or complaints raised with the Labour/Buying Desk are avoided or minimised
General administration duties that support the operation of the Labour/Buying Desk

Skills and Capabilities
Ability to meet deadlines without the need for prompting
Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner
Interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships
Proficient in MS Office suite
Knowledge of CIS preferred but not essential

Experience
Experience of creating and placing purchase orders on Unison or other platforms
Experience of working within a team environment
Experience of purchase ledger and invoice approval
Experience of working in a customer focused role

In return for your skills and experience, the Client is offering an hourly rate of £10.00ph
