COMPANY CAR / ALLOWANCE, BONUS, STAKEHOLDER PENSION

SALARY £25,000 - OTE £35,000

An Independent Electrical Wholesaler and winner of multiple industry awards as the UK's best Independent Electrical Wholesaler selling a wide range of products, focusing on the Electrical Contractor Market, Industrial, Commercial and Retail End User.

Their expertise also covers design and build of bespoke control panels into the engineering and manufacturing sector giving them a unique position in the market place and an unrivalled technical knowledge within their specialist sector - true problem solvers.

The Role

My client is currently looking to expand their team and are now searching for an experienced Field Sales / Business Development Manager preferably with a background in Electrical Wholesale with a proven track record of sales.

The role will be based from our depot is South Yorkshire but you will be expected to travel out to potential clients promoting the company's products and services. You will seek to create brand new accounts, through active networking and outwardly thinking towards any potential New Business opportunities and be responsible for the ongoing management of these accounts. You will be set realistic and achievable targets for development of new business and management of accounts which will all build towards a solid and sustainable bonus structure.

Through expert and professional handling of customers you will assist them with their needs, giving a solution based approach, delivering customer service excellence and adding value to every transaction

The Candidate

The candidate will need to be a self-motivated and passionate individual that has a true drive to seek New Business opportunities and match the customer expectations through our expansive product base and technical knowledge. It is essential that the person applying is a resilient individual that can take a knock back when unable to close a sale without losing the motivation to continue in the sales drive. You will need to be flexible to a changeable day, outwardly thinking and able to learn new product information to clearly pass information to customers and liaise between customers and the company.

The person applying for this role will need fantastic communication skills and able to speak with a large range of people from various backgrounds throughout the work day. You must have a proven high level of sales with the ability to close sales within a New and Existing Business environment while maintaining a focus on the Gross and Net Profit Margins.

Anyone applying for this role will need a high level of technical knowledge and understanding within the Electrical Industry and ideally this will be within the Wholesale Market Sector

The person applying for this role must be a professional and driven individual that can work alone and with the minimum of supervision while reporting information accurately to Head Office.

Ideally you will have a very good understanding of the Contractor Route to Market as this will be highly beneficial and greatly benefit you career, along with assisting towards your targets.
