My client are a Regional Contractor based in the North West, who work across several sectors, their key sector is Social Housing however they also work with the education, commercial, leisure and energy sectors.

Due to winning several new contracts in the Greater Manchester region for 2018, they are now looking to appoint 2 Site Managers to join their team working on Social Housing Refurbishment schemes (in particular kitchen and bathrooms).

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, your duties include but will not be limited to:-

" Managing a site team including Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget;
" Requisition of materials;
" Monitoring and managing health and safety on site;
" Holding regular progress meetings and attending client meetings when necessary;
" Updating the construction programme;
" Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise;
" Checking the quality of all plant on site;
" Attending monthly cost meetings.

The successful candidate must have their SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness tickets as well as relevant experience within Social Housing Refurbishment as a Site Manager.
