Account Assistant/Administrator - £17,500

North Leeds

Monday - Friday (Flexible full time hours)

My client are a well-known brand based in North Leeds have an exciting new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant/Administrator.

The purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely processing of accounting information on a monthly cycle to ensure accurate Monthly Management Reports for Directors. You will be processing sales information from all departments, including a reconciliation of sales receipts & invoices.

Key responsibilities:

*To ensure accurate and timely processing of sales information from all departments including Investigating posting anomalies.
*Reconciling sales to receipts on a daily basis, recording accurately any differences.
*Investigating Debtors' balances on an on-going basis and reporting any unresolvable issues to the Accounts Supervisor or Finance Director.
*Submit EU Intrastat report on a monthly basis.
*Reconcile and post entries from bank statements
*To provide administration assistance to the General Office but specifically the Training & Education Department


*Strong interpersonal communication both verbal and written.
*A working knowledge of Excel is essential, and experience of Word and Netsuite is desirable.
*The ability to communicate at all levels, including senior management.
*Ability to work to under pressure to meet deadlines.
*Good numerical skills.


*Bookkeeping skills including experience reconciling accounting entries & bank statements.
*General Office administration experience including processing orders
