An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and experienced technical professional, to join the business as our System Administrator - 2nd / 3rd Line Support; and we are now looking for individuals just like you!
Yorkshire Coast Homes is a Charitable, Registered Provider, providing and maintaining almost 4,500 properties across the North Yorkshire coast.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well - organised individual to join our IT Team, as our System Administrator - 2nd / 3rd Line Support.
* £25,356 - £27,017 per annum.
* 37 Hours per week, Monday to Friday.

System Administrator Responsibilities:
In this role, you will implement, develop, evaluate and support the organisation's software, systems and databases in line with customer needs, to ensure the successful delivery of corporate objectives. You will also be responsible for:
* To ensure the on-going availability, security and efficiency of corporate systems by providing 2nd and 3rd line support and system administration for the Association's and other related systems.
* Provide technical support on software applications in order to resolve user issues as accurately and as quickly as possible.
* Database management and maintenance in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
* Take adequate measures to ensure all databases and systems are backed up and maintained appropriately.

The ideal System Administrator will have:
To be successful in this role, you will Ideally possess the following:
* Specialist technical knowledge, skills and experience relevant to the post
* Working towards or already hold a professional IT qualification
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
* An ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
* Positive and flexible approach to the post, and an ability and willingness to work outside of normal office hours on occasions
