Internal Sales Manager
£28,000 - £32,000 + comms

Our client has been established for over 10 years and have reach the UK's number one supplier within the industry sector, supplying their products to the construction industry. Due to their success they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to streamline the sales procedures and managing the internal sales team. You will also be responsible in maximising revenue from existing clients, establishing relationships with lapsed clients and developing new business from lead generation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a business development role, have a proven track record of growing company's revenue and experience of managing a small sales team and implementing and tracking sales activities.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:


* Experience of managing an internal sales team
* Assess and set performance targets for sales productivity, process and quality, in line with company sales targets, budgets and forecasts
* Manage, coach and motivate the sales team to deliver performance standards and targets
* Assess and recruit sales team employees
* Conduct sales team performance reviews and develop training plans
* Develop lead conversion techniques, sales/contract processing methods/processes to optimise user experience and relationship
* Analyse and report activity and results compared to targets and forecasts
* Ensure prospect, customer and contract data is set up and maintained to our client's requirements
* Ensure sales and product/service promotional material is up to date

Business Development

* Bringing on new business, converting lapsed clients and managing existing accounts
* Working closely with the field based sales team regarding company strategy
* Implementation of digital marketing campaigns, promotions and business development projects
* Manage key account/customer relationships
* Manage CRM (Salesforce) and prospect conversion
